“Seasons in the Sun” is an album of covers released in 1993 by the band Spell. Spell is made-up of members Rose McDowall and Boyd Rice . The album is the project's only release.
“Seasons in the Sun” pays tribute to a genre of tragic love songs known as “splatter platter,” “death discs,” “tear jerkers,” or simply “teen tragedy” popular in the ‘60s and ‘70s.
